Dental Education is Dr Kedar Bakshi's lecture library for dentists. It is run by Dr Kedar Bakshi, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India (his clinic: Sai Smile Dental Care, Vasai East). This page says plainly what the site keeps about you and why.
What we keep
- Your details, when you write them to open the free lectures or become a member: name, WhatsApp number, country, dental registration number (DCI or your country's council) and email.
- Continue with Google: if you choose it, Google tells us your name, your email address and a Google account number. We never see your Google password, and we ask Google for nothing else.
- Your devices: a random code saved in your browser, the type of browser, and the approximate city and country it connects from. This keeps your access to two devices and lets you sign a device out.
- What you watch: which lectures you opened and where you stopped, so you can resume and see your ticks.
- What you send: your messages to Dr Kedar or Dr Mahendra Patait and your questionnaire answers.
- Sharing: when you share a lecture, the link carries your code, so we can see which doctor brought whom.
- Your questions to I4U: the question (patient names are taken out first), the answer and your 👍 / 👎, so Dr Kedar can check the answers and add good ones to his question bank.
- The Terms: which version of the Terms you agreed to, and when.
- Shared parts: when you share a part of a lecture, which part, when, and how many times it was watched.
- Teaching on the site (when it opens): what teachers and students write about themselves, the lectures and files they send, their consents and, if they choose their own voice, the voice sample. The voice is used only to narrate their own lectures, made with ElevenLabs.
- Packs and payments: what you bought, what you paid by UPI and the UPI reference number you write, so Dr Kedar can match your payment.
I4U: answers from Dr Kedar Bakshi's knowledge base
I4U answers your questions only from Dr Kedar Bakshi's own lectures, and shows you the part of the lecture the answer comes from. The answers are written by AI: I4U runs on Claude, made by Anthropic. Your question and the matching parts of Dr Kedar's lectures are sent to Anthropic only to write the answer; the search inside the lectures runs on Cloudflare. I4U is teaching help for dentists, not advice for any particular patient: please check what matters in the full lecture.
Why we keep it
Only to open the lectures for you, keep your place, check that the library is used by dental professionals, answer your messages and, if you ticked the box, message you on WhatsApp about new lectures and courses from Dr Kedar. We do not sell your details, we do not show advertisements, and we do not give your details to advertisers.
Who can see it
- Dr Kedar Bakshi and his team.
- Dr Mahendra Patait, only for doctors in his CBCT Fellowship, his questionnaire and messages about his lectures.
- The site and its videos run on Cloudflare, which stores the data for us. Lectures from YouTube play through YouTube. Google handles the "Continue with Google" sign-in. Anthropic's Claude writes I4U's answers (see above).
Your choice
You can ask us at any time to show you what we keep about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to kedarbakshi@gmail.com or use "Message Dr Kedar" on the site. Your browser's own data (the device code) you can clear yourself in the browser's settings.
